Digital Fluency

Kereru Whanau Site 2018
What an amazing resource I have stumbled across! One of my colleagues had made her class a site and was so excited to share it with me. It was amazing & I have gone ahead and made my class something similar.

On our site, there are so many resources that my students have access to.

They can view our weekly timetable and see what we have going on that week.
They have access to their literacy activities, so they can see what literacy group they're in, what text they're reading for the week, and explicit must do and can do activities.
They have access to literacy resources, including sentence structure slides, punctuation and spelling posters, and editing resources.
They have access to an abundant amount of Maori resources that supports their in-class learning, similar to literacy.

The site is amazing because it allows the students to go back and digitally view the resources they have been given in the past. If they get stuck, everything is there for them.

My next steps for the site is incorporating our maths learning and inquiry learning onto the site.
